Assumed you have created a long document and used the term contract several times. Now it turns out that the term contract should be replaced by the term agreement. How laborious it would be to search the entire document for this term and change it individually. The Find and Replace feature allows you to quickly find the searched term and replace it with a different term in the entire document. This also works with company names or other keywords that you want to write in large or bold, underline or highlight in color.
